新夥伴來到
除了自行先換油(124560英哩)和更換火星塞之外，還要驗車。要通過年度州立驗車，Dearler索價不貲 ，按以下估價單未稅要$3,872鎂，簡直就是我的車價，這我決不依。有云:嫌貴?那就自己來!
週末黑手當然自己來，花了以下成本來訂零件和工具，帳面金額是$664.5
燈具破裂汙損
這是換上新的方向燈，看起來只是把膠帶撕掉，其實是要從輪拱內側進去鎖，也不是那麼簡單就是。
換CV Boot防塵套很不簡單，特別要記錄一下。此時，已經將前後clamps解開，我是靠前後VISE固定傳動軸(防止整支傳動軸脫落)，然後用hammer輕敲boot，CV萬向接頭就脫落。之後就輕易換下舊boot，清潔一下在安裝新boot.
原本以為換傳動軸防塵套是這一趟最困難的程序，結果換後彈簧才讓我吃盡苦頭，一度卡關。

取下舊彈簧，容易；裝上新彈簧，難難難，非常難。
千不該，萬不該，就是不要動這根螺絲，更遑論解除這螺絲。導致我一半的時間都在想要怎麼把他復原裝回去，補充給各位看倌知道，咱週末黑手DIY，要人沒人，要設備也沒設備，就靠老拙的這雙手敲敲打打。下圖是再裝回去時，感動到不管手上油汙，先拍一張在說。
個人是靠以下組合把lower control arm逼回去Hub槽，事後從裝lower control arm另一端(是的，最後我是把整支lower control arm解下)的經驗回想起來，也許把輪胎裝上就有足夠的力矩leverage?
把這些缺失改好了，最終驗車當然是通過了，不過再回去驗車時，因為超過原始驗車14天，所以又要重新繳驗車費($21)當做重新驗車。A Few Things Down, Many More To Go，雖然驗車過了，但我對車況並不滿意，行車路感不佳，也許後避震器應該一併換掉才是。現在天氣實在太冷了，外面是攝氏零下20度，車庫只是沒風，感覺還是太冷，等春夏之際再來改進吧。原本打算換上倍適登避震器，結果送來的尺寸不對，但也發現原本的異音其實是避震器並沒有鎖的到位，把最下方與控制臂連結處鎖緊就好了。
開了幾天，引擎燈又亮了，經查是油氣過濃，查了Live Data，我推測是MAF髒了或是Throttle髒了，有時間再來清一下。結果，清了Throttle也換了MAF，熱車之後還是會亮引擎燈，所以接下查修方向是:1.Defective Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor and/or its vacuum line. 2.defective Oxygen Sensor (O2 sensor) If the Oxygen Sensor heater element only works intermittently—well enough to pass the readiness test, but fails once the car has been driven for a while—the vehicle will go into "open loop."似乎2.比較像我遇到的情形

20180922-replace a genuine Toyota radiator
When you DIY, sometimes shit happens... but that's ok. You learn and you evolve.
One week ago, I tried to do a regular maintenance including oil change and the tires rotation. Floor Jack slipped a little before I placed the stands. I have a rule that never lie below the car without the floor stands. Therefore, I was not injured at all because it is a minor slip and I was not beneath the car. However, the jack slipped into the drain faucet of the radiator. So the coolant was leaking from the cracks around the faucet and pouring on the ground. I stopped the leaking temporally by paste some epoxy but it was never a long term cure to the leaking. So after I changed the oil and completed the tire rotation, I order the genuine radiator (Part No.: 16400-0P370
RADIATOR ASSY) from toyotapartsdeal.com for my 2017. It cost me a fortune but I would rather purchase a genuine part for 100% fit. To remove or to install it back was not difficult for me. Also, I took this chance to rinse and wash out the bug bodies out of the AC condenser and even zip Stainless Steel Mesh under the grill to protect the condenser and radiator. It is not so bad given what I have done.

that is how i stopped the fluid...
Separate condenser from the radiator and more bugs...
remove the radiator successfully. time to rinse and wash out the bud bodies
air compressor becomes handy to dry the condenser and rest components
broken radiator and retain the 4 adaptors below and upper
radiator cracks
a genuine part
install fan module on the new radiator
put it back and connect every hose
fill in genuine Toyota 50/50 coolant. Actually I also fill in 50ml transmision fluid
a Must to fill in the coolant.
All jobs done. My Sienna seems running even better.

20180617-first oil change + filter change+ parking braking adjustment
2600 miles run-in. Some metal particles in old oil. Be so glad to change oil in advance of the schedule in the user manual.

奮力冒汗三下午，節省千鎂暗自喜。

So far so good.
One week after, I revise my comment from good to better because the acceleration is quicker and there is no leak. I reckon the overall vacuum is tight and secured. I think new gaskets and AT-205 both work pretty well.
Other than replacements above, cross-pattern rotation also were applied to 4 tires.

20180502-2017 Sienna grease leaking from the dust boot of the drive shaft
As I am planning relatively long journey to Albany this weekend, I kind of prepped my car this afternoon and tried to clean the wheels/rims starting from the front driver side on 5/2. It seems paranoid because I always think this rim will get dirty easily. So, that afternoon I wore groves to touch the back of the wheel and control arms and links around. Then I felt something sticky and decided to check further and take pictures. Shockingly I found grease leaking from the dust boot of the drive shaft. Please see pictures attached. I had Hoselton service center checked the first thing on 5/3 and hope my sales rep - Luke Pereto can follow up with the shop to make sure that this issue can be fixed properly (either refill grease and change boot or replace the old drive shaft with the new one). Who knows what will happen if I don't check/find the leakage and still drive the long distance!
